Donations

​​Gifted books contribute to the development of the library’s collections, as they aim to enrich the collections with materials that meet the needs of the library users. The Library accepts book donations based on the following procedure: Gifts are accepted from internal and external entities and individuals, taking into consideration mainly the following:

• The books should be related to the subjects taught at Qatar University.

  
  

• The books should be in good condition without damage or defects that affect their quality or usability.

The materials added to the library collection generally include:

• Academic books

  
  

• University theses

  
  

• Government journals

  
  

• Annual reports

  
  

• Publications from government entities

  
  

• Topics related to Qatar and the GCC countries
