- General Maintenance: The University Staff Housing Department coordinates with the Government Housing Department, which handles it according to agreements with Government Housing. Repairs must be prioritized by their degree of urgency.

- Emergency Repairs: These must be carried out as quickly as possible, generally within 24 hours. Examples include:
- A serious electrical fault
- Complete failure of the electrical system
- Lack of water supply to the residence, or a water leak
